We’re running a series of exciting, interactive taster sessions throughout the week. These events are a great way to experience what it’s like to study at UHI Argyll, meet our friendly staff, and find out if a particular subject is right for you.
On Thursday, June 19, the Dunoon Hair Salon will open its doors to those
interested in a career in hairdressing. You’ll have the opportunity to take a look around the new salon, meet our hairdressing lecturer, and even try out some simple styling techniques.
On Friday, June 20, the centre will host a Maritime Chartwork session – a must for those considering a career at sea or in marine navigation. This practical session offers a glimpse into the skills and knowledge taught on UHI Argyll’s Maritime course.
In addition to these in- person events, we also have a range of online sessions running throughout the week, covering subjects such as Health and Social Care, Early Years Education, Horticulture, and Access to College.
