Super Cooper wins blustery battle

AS Storm Amy battered the area on Friday and Saturday there was uncertainty as to whether the Observer Shield would go ahead.

However, it was the calm after the storm on Sunday as the players set out to play the course backwards in the final trophy of the year.

Whilst the blustery conditions continued, it didn’t stop some competitors from producing some amazing scores in both challenges.

It was Douglas Cooper who won on the day with a sensational 41 points.

Also with 41 was Scott Lauffer, however he was beaten on count back.
