Bute Pride business appeal

Following the resounding success of last year’s Bute Pride, which saw record attendance and a marked economic boost to the Island, plans are already in motion to make next year’s event even bigger and better.

Bute Pride 2024 brought a wave of visitors to the Island, generating significant economic benefits and showcasing the community’s growing support for LGBTQ+ inclusivity.

Now, as organisers look ahead to 2025, they are focusing on spreading the event’s social and financial impact even further across the Island.

Ayshea Simpson, Chair of the Bute LGBTQ+ group, shared the group’s vision for next year: “While last year’s event was fantastically successful, with record numbers of attendees from both the Island and visitors, we felt that 2025 should focus on expanding the benefits even further – ensuring that both the social and economic impact of Pride is shared across the community.”

To achieve this, the group plans to introduce a different format for next year’s event, with several local venues already on board.

The organisers are now reaching out to businesses and organisations across Bute to join in and help make Bute Pride 2025 a standout success.

Businesses interested in being part of the event are encouraged to get in touch with the Bute LGBTQ+ group at [email protected].
