Police Scotland are reporting an incident south of Tarbet on the A82.
The road is closed in both directions, as of 13:30.
Police Scotland said: “Emergency services are dealing with an incident on the A82 south of Tarbet.”
One driver has reported an emergency helicopter has landed on the road.
Road users are being asked to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
Update 13:45: We understand one lane is now in operation between Tarbet and Inverbeg. Traffic remains heavy in the area.
