Bute Island Radio got into the festive spirit this past weekend, taking part in the Bute Yard Christmas Market on Saturday and Sunday.

The station set up shop alongside Erin and Amber at the Bute Yard stall, selling raffle tickets and spreading holiday cheer to market-goers.

As if the atmosphere wasn’t festive enough, there was a special guest in attendance—none other than Father Christmas himself.

The jolly man in red made an appearance at the market, adding to the magic of the event and delighting both young and old.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there.

Father Christmas is set to return to Bute Island Radio on Monday, December 23, to help host the station’s Christmas Show at 2pm.

It promises to be an afternoon filled with festive fun, as listeners are encouraged to request their favourite Christmas songs.

Whether you’re longing for traditional carols or modern hits, the show will have something for everyone.

To make a request, simply call 07989 088089 or 01700 502236, or drop an email to [email protected].

It’s the perfect opportunity to join in the holiday celebrations and hear your favourite tunes as the island tunes in to Christmas.

So, don’t miss out—tune in to Bute Island Radio on the 23rd and join Father Christmas and the team for an afternoon of festive music and fun.
