Jordan McLachlan (19), from Kirn, was given a community payback order to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work and a supervision order for 12 months. On September 24 this year at Sinbad’s Bar in Dunoon, he behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by acting aggressively towards an individual, uttered remarks towards them, and brandished a bottle.
On a separate charge, McLachlan was given a community payback order and given 210 hours of unpaid work as a direct alternative to custody. On April 30, 2025, at Queen Street, Dunoon, he behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing, and behaving aggressively. On the same day, acting with another, McLachlan struck a 17-year-old with a bottle on the head and repeatedly punched him on the head to his injury and permanent disfigurement. McLachlan committed this offence whilst on bail.
David James McGregor (43), from Kirn, was given a supervision order for 12 months, a community payback order of 180 hours of unpaid work, and was ordered to pay £217 in compensation. On April 8 this year at a property in Cowal Place, McGregor assaulted an individual by pulling and throwing them, dragging them by the body, and throwing them to the ground to their injury. On the same day, he, without reasonable excuse, wilfully or recklessly destroyed property belonging to another by punching and smashing a window.
Paul Thomas Richmond (40), from Lochgilphead, was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment. On August 9, 2025, he behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing, and challenging witnesses to fight. On the same day, at the junction of Brodie Crescent and Union Street, Lochgilphead, he had an offensive weapon, namely a machete.
On a separate charge, on February 12 this year at a property in Brodie Crescent, Richmond assaulted an individual by seizing them by their neck, by their hair, scratched their face, and seized jewellery from their body, all to their injury. Richmond committed this offence having been granted bail at Dunoon Sheriff Court on November 18, 2025. He was sentenced to 24 months in prison.
Steven Wrigglesworth (55), from Glasgow, was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £500. On May 12, 2025, on the A83 between Inveraray and Cairndow, he drove a van by dangerously accelerating harshly, attempted to undertake a motorcycle, tailgated the rider, and overtook them on a narrow bridge when it was unsafe to do so without full view of any oncoming traffic. Wrigglesworth drove on the gravel border of said bridge, causing dust to rise in the air, and drove in the centre of the road and on the opposing carriageway, including around bends. Wrigglesworth deliberately swerved his van and caused it to collide with the motorbike as it was overtaking, causing the motorcyclist’s leg to be compressed with the van, causing the rider to take evasive action.
Saulius Tankelevicius (41), from Kirn, was ordered to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work. On May 11, 2025, at Marine Parade, Tankelevicius acted in a threatening and abusive manner, where he shouted and uttered threats of violence.
Alan Lithgow (38), from Blantyre, was fined £270. On October 15, 2024, at the A83, Inveraray, and elsewhere, Lithgow was in possession of a controlled drug, namely cocaine, a Class A drug.
Susan Cardno (45), from Dunoon, was ordered to pay £400 in compensation. On February 24 this year at Rio Restaurante in Dunoon, she behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting and swearing, uttered threats, knocked over an item of furniture, and pushed trays.
Matthew Templeton (28), from Dunoon, was given a community payback order of 200 hours of unpaid work. On February 1 this year at The Clansman Bar in Dunoon, he assaulted a man by pushing him on the body, causing him to fall, and repeatedly punched him to the head to his severe injury.
