Ardenlee Care Home triumphs at the Care Home Highland Games

ARDENLEE Care Home has fended off competition from around the country to take home gold

The team at the care home achieved outstanding feats at this year’s Care Home Highland Games, held in Argyll.

The team, known as the ‘Ardenleeders’, brought home an incredible three trophies — including 1st Place for Best Care Home in Argyll & Bute during the games.

Ardenlee staff also took part in the 24-hour Step Challenge, completing an impressive seven-day event and earning 1st place in this category as well.

A spokesperson for the residence said: “Residents showcased their competitive spirit, with Christine M., Frances T., and Julie B. winning first place in the Wellington Boot Throwing Competition.

“Also our ‘Ardenleeders’ won best team name.

“We are thrilled to celebrate these amazing achievements and the teamwork, dedication, and community spirit that made them possible.”
