Bulls winning streak comes to an end

BRANDANE Bulls faced their toughest game of the season last weekend as they faced top of the league side Park Sports Project at home.

Bulls came into the game unbeaten in the last four with Park Sports unbeaten in the league so far and with a goal difference of plus 74 from 11 games.

The match started quickly with the visitors showing why that was the case as it only took them five minutes to score their first goal from a well worked passage of play before a superb strike inside the box.

The Bulls settled after the first goal and managed to defend well against a very fast paced opposition moving the ball well.

The home side managed some chances in the first half but nothing came of it and at half time the score remained 1-0.

Second half was much of the same, some good play from Park Sports and some good defending from the Bulls. Again, there was glimmers of chances for the home side but Park Sports dealt with everything they threw at them.

Midway through the second half Park Sports got their second goal and followed not long after with a third. Both goals were well worked and finished well.

The match ended 3-0 to Park Sports Project. The Bulls worked hard throughout against really good opposition who have been tipped early for winning the league.

Player of the team was goalkeeper Sam, who faced a lot of shots on target throughout the match, most of which he saved and to concede only three was a great effort.

The team would like to thank Bute Dental Care as match day sponsor and to Callows for the catering.
