On March 8, a 21-year-old man was arrested and released on undertaking to appear at court for numerous offences including, acting in a threatening and abusive manner, being in possession of an offensive weapon, vandalism and being in possession of a bladed article near to Wyndham Road, Innellan.

Around 5.20pm on March 3, a 41-year-old woman was arrested and held custody for court for acting in a threatening and abusive manner near to Ferry Brae, Dunoon.

Around 8.55pm on March 5, a 21-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal for assault and attempting to cause an animal unnecessary suffering.

Around 6pm on March 4, a 36-year-old man, a 43-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were arrested and held custody for court for attempt theft near to Strone Brae, the 43-year-old man was also charged for a number of traffic offences.

Road Safety

A number of traffic offences were identified in Dunoon and the surrounding area over the past week. These included driving with no L plates and driving without insurance.

BUTE

Around 4.17pm on March 4, a 27-year-old man was issued with a fixed penalty notice for breach of the peace near to High Street, Rothesay.

Around 11.35pm on March 4, a 27-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal for being in possession of cannabis near to High Street, Rothesay.

Around 3.50pm on March 4 a 29-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal for acting in a threatening and abusive manner and assault near to High Street, Rothesay.

Around 10.15pm on March 7, a 69-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for being in possession of cannabis near to Argyle Place, Rothesay.

Traffic

There was one recorded crime for motoring offences namely a motor vehicle being driven with No MOT near to Creek Drive, Port Bannatyne.
