Around 4:25pm August 29, a 37-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for acting in a threatening and abusive manner and for being in possession of cannabis near to Queen Street.

Around 12am on June 22, a 44-year-old man was arrested and held custody for court for breaching bail conditions near to Argyll Street.

Road Safety

A number of road traffic offences have been detected in the past week, namely for not having an MOT, speeding and careless drving.

To continue ensuring road safety, Road Policing units will be increasing their presence in the area with targeted patrols. These efforts aim to promote responsible driving habits and identify potential hazards. If you plan to get behind the wheel, please make sure your vehicle is roadworthy, with all necessary tests and documentation up to date.

Around 8:05pm on August 27, a 43-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for being in possession of cannabis near to Victoria Place.

Around 11:30pm on August 29, a 60-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for acting in a threatening and abusive manner near to Dewar Avenue.

Around 6:58pm on August 31, a 22-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for being in possession of cannabis near to High Street.
