CALMAC advised this week that Rothesay to Wemyss Bay foot passengers are to embark and disembark via the car deck at Rothesay – ‘until further notice’.
With MV Bute in annual overhaul, MV Coruisk is joining MV Argyle on the route.
Coruisk cannot use the gangway at Rothesay, so all foot passengers— including commuters, pupils, cyclists and buggy users—must use the car deck.
CalMac advises allowing a little extra time at busy sailings and asking crew for assistance if you have reduced mobility or heavy luggage. Services continue as scheduled while the overhaul is completed.
