THREE local dancers have been celebrating a string of strong results after picking up trophies and top placings at competitions over the past two weekends.
On the weekend of March 7, the dancers travelled to Oban to compete in the Highlands and Islands Music and Dance Festival.
At the event, Addison Whiteside won the overall Beginners Highland trophy, while Georgina Wallace shared the Beginners National trophy with Addison in the same age group.
Ella-Mae McInairnie also turned in an impressive performance, securing good placings in seven of her eight dances.
The following weekend, all three dancers travelled to Coatbridge to take part in the Lanarkshire Thistle Competition, where they again enjoyed success.
Addison won the Beginners trophy as well as the special fling trophy, while Georgina took home the second-place trophy.
Ella-Mae also had a successful weekend, winning the overall trophy in her novice age group along with the special fling trophy.
Their recent results reflect the hard work and commitment all three dancers have shown as they continue to develop their skills.
