Bute Yard: A day out, inside

WITH the weather warning upon us in the shape of Storm Amy this weekend, venturing out should be to go and do something special and Bute Yard may be just the place to be.

It’s all about celebrating the arts and crafts of life itself at the food and drink hub that showcases the best of Bute.

This weekend sees the return of the Truck Sri- Kitchen pop up. The Glasgow-based street food favourite is known for their bold, Southeast Asian-inspired flavours. Sandali and Angelo are returning with their much-loved menu plus a few tasty new additions on Saturday and Sunday.

The Ardbeg Islanders’ Ceilidh Band will be playing live from 7pm on Saturday. Entry is free and the music plays on until 10pm.

And on Sunday, it’s market day where curators and makers will fill Bute Yard. As inthepast, itisadaynotto be missed. Entry is free and the market runs from 10am until 4pm.
