A CITIZENSHIP Ceremony was held in Castle House Dunoon on Friday, October 17, for Amy Brawley a long term resident of Dunoon.
Originally from South Africa, Amy came to Dunoon over seven years ago and continues to work in Dunoon Primary School. The
photograph shows Amy, her partner Steven and his sons Max and Mason.
They are flanked by Dunoon ward councillor Daniel Hampsey and Depute Lieutenant Peter McDill.
Also supporting Amy were her friends Calum and Caroline MacBrayne. Linda
Mollins officiated at the ceremony as the Assistant Registrar for Dunoon and Cowal. A spokesperson at the ceremony said; ‘We love these ceremonies, although short, they are vital and emotionally important. We like to welcome our new Scots and offer our heartfelt congratulations.
