BOOK WEEK Scotland is coming to our local libraries, with three fantastic events to celebrate stories, writers and community spirit.
Dunoon Library is hosting a vibrant local author event, inviting the community to come together over a love of literature. Take the opportunity to meet talented local authors, engage in discussions about their works, and listen to inspiring talks. Many of the authors will have their books available for sale, making it a perfect chance to discover new reads and support local talent. Join liveArgyll Libraries from 6pm on Tuesday 19 November for an evening filled with creativity, conversation, and the joy of storytelling.
Or put your literary knowledge to the test at a fun, book-themed quiz. Perfect for readers and trivia fans alike, come on your own or bring a friend and join in the fun with good company and brilliant community spirit. Starting 6pm on Friday 21 November at Dunoon Library.
On Friday 21 November, Rothesay Library welcomes crime writer Tony Black, sharing tales from his writing career. A reader favourite with over twenty titles behind him, he will be talking about his latest work and his journey as a writer.
Support your local libraries and celebrate the joy of reading across Argyll and Bute. Full calendar of liveArgyll’s Book Week Scotland events available to view at https://liveargyll. co.uk/library_resources/ whats-on/
