Members from Kilmun, Innellan, Strathlachlan and host club, Colintraive, took part in the popular Singles Cup tournament on Saturday, January 17.
The competition comprised nine ends of eight bowls, organised by Curly Black, who ran the event.
The semi-finals were Robin MacNair (Strathlachlan CBC) against Ross Spiers (Strathlachlan CBC) and Shane Loveland (Kilmun CBC) v Donny MacPhail (Colintraive CBC).
The final was closely fought between Ross and Shane, with Shane catching the run of the table a bit better.
The club wished to congratulate Shane, who is a new name on the trophy, and Ross as a worthy runner-up.
They also extended thanks to Mary Sinclair and Anne MacPhail for looking after everyone and providing a lovely spread.
A spokesperson for the club said: “Attending these events is great for the kindred club members to gain experience of all the different tables and to catch up with one another.”
