A 33-year-old woman was reported to the procurator fiscal for acting in a threatening and abusive manner near to John Street Dunoon on November 4 around 5.30pm.
A 51-year-old man and a 40-year-old man were reported to the procurator fiscal for assault following a report of a disturbance on the A815, Loch Eck on November 7, around 11.07pm.
A 35-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for theft by shoplifting near to John Street on November 10, around 3.53pm.
A number of traffic offences were detected on the A815 in recent days with the main offences being careless driving and speeding.
Most notable incident being that a 20-year-old woman was reported to the procurator fiscal for dangerous driving on the A815 near to Dhailling Road, Dunoon on November 6, around 9.12pm. Appeal for Information – Damaged Car Police are appealing for information after it was reported that a vehicle parked at Shelia’s Diner Car Park (Cot House Petrol Station) was subject to damaged tyres between 5pm and 10pm on October 27. A 60-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal for acting in a threatening and abusive manner near to Victoria Hospital on November 7 around 3.55pm.
A 66-year-old man was issued with a fixed penalty notice for urinating in public near to Gallowgate on November 8 around 10.47pm.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and held custody to appear at court for acting in a threatening and abusive manner near to High Street on November 9 around 8.15pm.
Police in Bute have reported a rise in traffic offences, including speeding, driving without an MOT, and no insurance. They warn of increased enforcement and urge drivers to follow road safety laws.
