Around 11am on June 19, on Tom-a-Mhoid Road, Dunoon, a 24-year-old man conducted himself in a disorderly manner, shouting and making threats. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
Around 1am on June 20, police were called to a disturbance on Hamilton Street, Dunoon. A 35-year-old man was arrested and reported due to his behaviour and possession of controlled drugs.
Around 12.40am on June 20, police were called to a disturbance at Hunters Quay Holiday Village. On arrival at locus, police were met by an aggressive male who was aggressive towards them The male was arrested and taken into police custody. The male was later released for report and will be reported for several offences.
BUTE
Around 9.30am on June 16, aboard the Rothesay/Wemyss Bay ferry, a 53-year-old man conducted himself in a threatening manner towards ferry staff. He was subsequently arrested and held to appear at court on other matters.
Around 10.15am on June 18, a 52-year-old woman conducted herself in a threatening and abusive manner on King Street, Rothesay. The female was arrested and later released on a police undertaking to attend court at a later date.
Road Safety
In the past weeks local police have detected a number of road traffic offences in Dunoon, and the surrounding areas. The incidents have been for speeding, careless driving, no MOT and no Insurance.
To continue ensuring road safety, Road Policing units will be increasing their presence in the area with targeted patrols.
