Dunoon Grammar Pupils shine in fundraising and school values events

PUPILS AT Dunoon Grammar School have been busy demonstrating both generosity and leadership, with successful events raising funds for Children in Need and celebrating the

school’s values.

Senior pupils led an impressive fundraising effort for Children in Need, organising a packed programme of activities including a staff coffee morning, face painting, a pyjama day, and the ever- popular ‘sponge the teacher’ event.

Their creativity and dedication paid off, raising over £750 for the charity.

Meanwhile, S1 pupils took part in the school’s annual Playfair Day, which focused on the importance of respect and kindness, key values at Dunoon Grammar.

Pupils enjoyed a variety of activities that explored what respectful behaviour looks like in practice, guided in part by the school’s senior students.

Special thanks were extended to Mrs O’Neill for organising the day and to the S6 pupils who helped lead several sessions, ensuring a successful and engaging experience for all.
