Dunoon Grammar School has launched its new vision, values, and aims this week, as the secondary school aims to shake up its direction of travel.
In a post on social media, the school announced the changes, citing that its renewed vision reflects its shared commitment to creating a school where every young person is supported to thrive, achieve their very best, and grow into confidence, ready to make a positive difference in the world.
Amongst the changes, the school has adopted the values of CLEAR: commitment, love, equity, ambition and respect, values the school will adhere to going forward in the hopes of creating the best possible learning environment for its young learners.
The consultation period involved all members of the school community, including parents and carers.
The school, in its closing remarks, added: “Many thanks to the many parents/carers who responded with their views.
“Thank you to everyone who contributed and we look forward to an exciting future for our school and the community.”
