DUNOON Senior Citizens Club marked Burns Night in fine style on Wednesday, January 21, with an afternoon of music, poetry and good company.
The celebration began with a traditional piping-in of the haggis by Duncan McLeod, carried proudly by Ellen Leslie, setting the tone for a thoroughly enjoyable event. Proceedings were chaired by Arthur French, who acted as master of ceremonies and guided the afternoon in his customary engaging style.
Guests were treated to a selection of well-known tunes played by Duncan, while Russell Cowieson provided musical accompaniment to Pearl Adamson and Wendy Rarity, whose harmonies were warmly received by those attending.
The afternoon concluded on a high note with a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne, bringing the celebrations to a fitting and heartfelt close.
Club members extended their thanks to everyone involved for helping to make the Burns celebration such a happy and memorable occasion.
