Ann Jeanette Gabel, (75), from Strone was given a community payback order for nine months and ordered to carry out 90 hours of community service. On August 30, 2024 on the A880 in Kilmun, whilst travelling on a bus from Dunoon to Ardentinny Gabel acted in a manner which was racially aggravated and which caused stress and alarm for two people. Gabel uttered remarks of a racist nature towards them.

Alexander James Hunter, (39), from Kirn was given

a community payback order for 12 months as a direct alternative to custody, along with a supplementary requirement for the same period of time, ordered to carry out 200 hours of community service and was given a non- harassment order for 12 months. Hunter being a person subject to a non-harassment order and being required to refrain from approaching, contacting or communicating with a certain individual did on December 5, 2025 at an address in Dunoon breach the terms of said order.

Joseph Marcolino Mark Ippolito, (62), from

Lochgilphead was fined £450. On December 21, 2023 at Mid Argyll Hospital, Lochgilphead and at Lochgilphead Police Station Ippolito behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by shouting, swearing, repeatedly striking a police van, uttered threats of violence, challenged police officers to a fight, refused to desist when asked to do so and uttered racial remarks.

Nathan John Barker, (28), from Ardrishaig was given

a community payback order for 12 months along with a supplementary requirement for the same period of time, ordered to carry out 63 hours of community service and was given a non-harassment order for 12 months.

Between July 12, 2025 and August 13, 2025 at a flat in Lochgilphead, Barker acted in a threatening and abusive manner which caused a woman fear and alarm where he repeatedly contacted her through a social media platform, namely WhatsApp messenger, and uttered offensive remarks.
