Ross Bonnar, (49), from Dunoon was given a non harassment order for five years, ordered to carry out 360 hours of unpaid work and to engage with domestic focused work programmes and alcohol addiction services for 18 months, as a direct alternative to custody.
On September 1, 2025 at a property in Dunoon he assaulted an individual by repeatedly seizing her by the neck, pinned her against a wall by her neck, thus restricting her breathing, and repeatedly punched her in the head.
