PORT BANNATYNE Golf Club recently held its annual Captain v Vice-Captain Medal on the course, with an extra-special twist to this year’s event.
This year it was a family affair as father and son, Matthew and Graham Dunn, faced off, alongside 24 other players who took to the course which was in superb condition.
Before the battle commenced, both the captain and vice-captain bought everyone a drink of choice.
With some great scoring in tough windy conditions it was vice-captain Graham Dunn who came out on top of the winter league format, with the final score 4-2 to his team.
A piping hot bowl of hearty soup awaited everyone when they came back in and a few beers were enjoyed.
The club wished to thank all who took part in a busy day on the course.
