Flood prevention - A call to action

Editor – From a Glebe resident a sight nobody wants to see, concerning flood prevention, is the amount of debris and rubbish in and around the footbridge over Milton Burn, next to the footpath in the Rose Gardens.

Someone from the powers that be must investigate this location to see for themselves what has to be done in regards to flood prevention in and around Salisbury Reagent Terrace.

Also the lack of drainage at the junction of Argyll Street and John Street in Dunoon needs to be looked at too, in particular the amount of surface water which gathers outside the Dunoon Observer shop. This alone is evidence something needs to be done.
