It's Almost Christmas with Cowal Choral Club!

AFTER SENDING audiences into fits of laughter earlier this year in their hit production of Nunsense, Cowal Choral Club is stepping into something much less chaotic, but every bit as joyful, with their winter concert Almost Christmas at Dunoon Burgh Hall on Friday 5th December at 7.30pm and Sunday 7th December at 2.30pm

Despite its festive- sounding title, this is not your typical Christmas concert. The name comes from the lively closing number, but it also hints at that early-December feeling when Christmas is definitely coming – just not quite here yet. Audiences can expect choral classics and contemporary pieces, together with some fun Christmassy numbers, making it the perfect start to the festive season.

Under the expert and ever-enthusiastic musical direction of Andrew

Nicol, the Club presents a programme celebrating the joy of making music and singing together. From Karl Jenkins and John Rutter to Adele and Jennifer Lopez, with a bit of Elf The Musical thrown in for good measure, there really is something for everyone!

If you’re looking for a warm, cheerful way to ease into December (not quite Christmas, but almost!), then Cowal Choral Club welcomes you to an evening, or afternoon, of music, laughter and seasonal sparkle.

Almost Christmas will be performed at Dunoon Burgh Hall on Friday 5th December at 7.30pm and Sunday 7th December at 2.30pm. Tickets are £14 (children under 14 free) and available from the Dunoon Burgh Hall website (https:// www.dunoonburghhall. org.uk/whats-on/) or from Steven Gibson Ltd. on Argyll Street (cash only).
