Local bookies gives back to those in care

LADBROKES Dunoon has been collecting items to gift to the residents of the local care system this Christmas.
Products like tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, sweets, socks and toiletries will be given to Ashgrove, Ardnahein, Ardenlea and Struan Lodge, as well as Cowal Community Hospital, Crossroads and Befrienders.
A spokesperson for the local bookies said: “Our Christmas collection wouldn’t be so successful without our wonderful families, friends and customers.
Our local community never lets us down and are always supportive of anything we do.”
Staff members Caroline Guichan, Yvonne Love, Andrew Steele and Jordan McLachlan worked together to give the residents of these local care facilities some Christmas joy.
Throughout the course of the year, the shop has also been raising money for children with cancer in the UK and prostate cancer.
On this, the spokesperson added: “This shows how generous our customers are throughout the year, and for this we thank them.”
