Man taken to hospital after early-morning crash

A MAN was taken to hospital following a one-vehicle crash on Dunoon’s Promenade, near to CalMac’s ferry terminal in the early hours of Sunday morning on February 15.

Emergency services were called to the incident at around 2.45am after reports of a vehicle collision in the seafront area.

The crash involved a single vehicle, understood to be a dark-coloured Range Rover, which sustained damage to its front end.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: Around 2.45am on Sunday, 15 February, police received a report of a one-vehicle crash in the pier esplanade area of Dunoon. One man was taken to hospital for assessment and recovery was arranged.

The extent of the mans injuries has not been disclosed.
