Tribute acts strike a chord at sold-out Kames Hall show

MUSIC fans in Tighnabruaich packed out Kames Hall on Easter Saturday for a sold-out night of live entertainment celebrating the songs of Queen and ABBA.
The April 4 concert featured a double-header performance, with ABBA tribute act Dancing Queenesque opening the show before Queenesque took to the stage with a full set of Queen classics.
Backed by members of Queenesque, the opening act got the evening off to a lively start with a selection of ABBA favourites, drawing an enthusiastic response from the audience.
The headline performance then saw Queenesque, who have been performing Queen’s music at venues and festivals across the UK for more than 15 years, deliver a fast-paced set of well-known hits.
Concertgoers sang along throughout the evening as the band worked through a string of popular anthems, accompanied by dramatic lighting and visual effects.
The atmosphere remained high after the interval, with the second half of the show keeping the audience on their feet.
The finale included We Are the Champions, which brought a loud response from the crowd and rounded off the evening in style.
Audience members leaving the hall were said to be full of praise for the performance, with many discussing their favourite moments from the night.
The concert was also seen as another example of live music drawing people together in the village and bringing a packed audience into Kames Hall.
