'Their new name should be Royal Snail'

Editor – Royal Mail are looking at changing their brand name to escape the scandals of the post masters who were falsely accused of wrongdoing.

I posted a letter/card to my family cousin who lives on the Isle of Bute with a first class stamp, they have now contacted me to say thank you as they received it. Unfortunately it took three weeks to arrive, which is shocking as it was their 50th wedding anniversary. Also the price of the stamp – 1.80 which is day light robbery, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed you and the post office had the audacity to claim the honest post masters were wrong yins

Their new name should be Royal Snail, as it took them three weeks to deliver a letter only 30 nautical miles away. I should have sent it by pigeon
