AFTER ten incredible years of music and unforgettable memories on the Isle of Bute, ButeFest has announced that the festival will take a short break in 2026.
But fans don’t need to worry–because the much-loved event is set to return from July 23-25, 2027.
Since its debut in 2015, ButeFest has grown into one of Scotland’s most vibrant family-friendly festivals, welcoming thousands of music lovers for a weekend filled with live acts, local food and drink and a taste of the island’s atmosphere.
From headline performances to grassroots talent, ButeFest has always been more than just a music festival–it’s been a celebration of culture, connection, and the magic of the island itself.
Organisers have shared heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported the festival over the past decade–audiences, artists, volunteers, sponsors, and the local community.
In a statement on social media, the team said: “We thank you all for your support so far and cant wait to come back with a bang in 2027.
While 2026 will be a quieter year on the festival front, anticipation is already building for the comeback.
