Innellan Women’s Club raises £360 for Cowal Hospice Trust

A COFFEE afternoon hosted by the Innellan Women’s Club has raised £360 for the Cowal Hospice Trust.

Club treasurer Cathy Fagan visited the hospice to present the cheque to Shaun Miller on behalf of members. Mr Miller thanked the club and said donations like this were ‘very welcome and important’ in helping the Trust continue its work supporting local patients and families.

Cathy said the club was ‘delighted to include this fundraising in our programme’ and thanked everyone who came along, baked, poured tea, or donated on the day.

The Innellan Women’s Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 2.30pm in Innellan Village Hall, offering a varied programme, friendly company and a much-loved afternoon tea. New faces are warmly welcomed. To see what the group is up to, search Innellan Women’s Club on Facebook.
