Alan Robert Paterson, (43), from Tighnabruaich was given a community payback order for 18 months with a supplementary requirement for the same period and ordered to carry out 162 hours of community service.

Between September 22, 2024 and November 22, 2024 Paterson attended a woman’s property in Dunoon and acted in a threatening and abusive manner, he repeatedly loitered at the property, uttering offensive remarks and making offensive gestures and did destroy the woman’s property.

Wendy Kerr Gregal, (52), from Sandbank was given a community payback order for six months and ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service. On January 29 at a property in Finbraken, Sandbank, Gregal sent, by means of a public electronic communications network, messages and calls to an individual which were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character, in that she repeatedly made remarks of a threatening and abusive nature. The offence was aggravated by prejudice relating to disability.

Kelly Ann Robertson from Dunoon was fined £315 at Dunoon Sheriff Court. On May 9, Robertson behaved in a threatening and abusive manner which was likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm in that she acted in an aggressive manner, shouted, swore, uttered offensive remarks and uttered threats of violence. The offence was aggravated by prejudice relating to disability.

Donna Rowlands, (26), from Dunoon was fined £200. On August 28 at a property in Argyll Street Rowlands behaved in a threatening and abusive manner by approaching a man and repeatedly struck a door, shouted and uttered threats of violence and offensive remarks towards him.

Duncan McLaren, (47), from Dunoon was given a six month community payback order and 100 hours of community service as a direct alternative to custody. On March 20 at Caledonian house on Ferry Brae, Dunoon, McLaren acted in a threatening and abusive manner which was racially aggravated and which caused or was intended to cause another person alarm or distress in respect that he acted in an aggressive manner by swearing and repeatedly uttering offensive and derogatory remarks.
