COWAL Golf Club has introduced a new digital system for managing competitions, with members now using the Scottish Golf platform ahead of the 2026 season.
As the first competitive fixtures approach, the club’s Match and Handicap Convenor has issued a step-by-step guide to help players navigate the new system via the My Scottish Golf app.
Members can enter competitions through the app’s “Events” section, where bookings will then appear on their dashboard. Players are reminded that they must be entered before signing in on the day, which is done through the scorecards section by selecting “Start Round”.
The club has also highlighted the importance of correctly submitting scores, urging players to save their scorecards properly, check totals with their marker and ensure both player and marker sign before submission.
The move is aimed at streamlining competition management and improving the overall experience for members as the new season gets underway.
