BUDDING cricketers from across Cowal and Bute are being encouraged to get ready for the new season with indoor nets sessions at Dunoon Grammar School.
The sessions take place every Saturday from 1-3pm with current and potential players getting ample opportunities to practice batting, bowling and fielding.
Bute County and Cowal Cricket Club captain Lindsay Towers commented: “We’d love to see some new faces.
“They’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome as we count down to the start of a new season in the spring.
“Our indoor sessions are a lot of fun and a perfect introduction for anyone new to the game whatever their age,” added Lindsay.
