A DUNOON couple who completed their first Argyll Rally together were presented with a special trophy, honouring a man who played an influential role in the event.
Stuart McNee and Angela Kerr were awarded the Paul Farrell Memorial Trophy after competing in this year’s Argyll Rally in their much-loved car, Lola.
The couple were one of three local crews to take part in the event and were presented with the trophy by Mull Car Club’s Ian McCuaig during a special presentation at Dunoon’s Coal Pier at the end of last month.
The Paul Farrell Memorial Trophy is traditionally awarded to the highest-placed driver from Inverclyde or Argyll and Bute competing in the rally.
The trophy was established in memory of Paul Farrell, who played an important role in helping to organise the Argyll Rally before his death.
