Around 9pm on July 11, a 32-year-old man was arrested and held in custody for court for theft, possession of cannabis and breach of bail near Argyll Street.
Around 8.30pm on July 15, a 36-year-old man was issued with a recorded police warning for being in possession of cannabis near Coal Pier car park.
Around 1.15am on July 19, a 35-year-old woman was issued with a recorded police warning for urinating in public near Argyll Street.

Road Safety
Two road traffic offences have been detected in the past week, namely speeding and careless driving.
To continue ensuring road safety, road policing units will be increasing their presence in the area with targeted patrols. These efforts aim to promote responsible driving habits and identify potential hazards. If you plan to get behind the wheel, please make sure your vehicle is roadworthy, with all necessary tests and documentation up to date.

BUTE

Around 1.40pm on July 16, a 52-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal for consuming alcohol in a public place near High Street.
Around 9pm on July 16, a 50-year-old man was reported to the procurator fiscal for failing to provide his details and for obstructing police.

Road Safety
One traffic offence was detected in Bute over the past week, namely driving without a valid MOT.
Driving without these legal requirements poses a significant risk to road safety and can result in hefty fines, penalty points and vehicle seizure. Local officers are continuing to monitor the roads to ensure all road users are fully compliant with the law.
