Scouts head 'doon the watter'

Scouts from the 26th Argyll (Sandbank) Scouts enjoyed a trip ‘doon the watter’ from Greenock to Largs on the PS Waverley.

The trip was paid for by a very generous donation from Alison MacQuarrie.

The group enjoyed fantastic weather for the day, both on and off the Waverley, with sun cream and ice cream being used in equal measures.

The day involved the scouts having a study period around the Battle of Largs, team building exercises and free time at the seaside.

The day was organised by two of the scouts, with leaders only having to get involved to implement plan B when the Waverley failed to keep to its timetable.
