POLICE in Dunoon are appealing for information after a man was found seriously injured in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is understood the 27-year-old had been seriously assaulted and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The incident happened in the early hours of Monday, December 29, on or near Marine Parade in the town.
The exact time of the assault is not known, but a 27-year-old man was found injured around 2.50am and taken to hospital for treatment.
Constable David Purdon said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish how the man came to be injured and we are asking anyone who saw something to get in touch. If you have private CCTV footage covering the area around Marine Parade, please check to see if something has been captured that could help with our investigation.
“In addition, if you were driving in the area, please also check dash-cam footage and make contact with us if you can assist with our enquiries.”
