Kenzie Duffy, (21), from Dunoon, was disqualified from driving for six months. On December 28 last year on Argyll Street, Dunoon, Duffy drove an e-bike without due care and attention and without reasonable consideration for other road users, by driving the incorrect direction down a one-way street and without the e-bike being appropriately illuminated. Duffy committed this offence whilst on bail.
Jordan Bannon, (24), from North Lanarkshire, was imprisoned for 81 weeks at Dunoon Sheriff Court. On September 14, 2024, at watersports pontoon near Loch Goil Cruisers, Lochgoilhead, Bannon assaulted an individual, then acting in the course of his employment, by pushing him on the body and repeatedly striking him on the arm with fishing rods. Bannon also behaved in a threatening manner by repeatedly shouting and behaving aggressively while in possession of a knife. On the same day, during the course of a journey on the B828 between Lochgoilhead and the Rest and Be Thankful, Bannon behaved in a racially aggravated manner causing distress to two police officers, then in the execution of their duties, as Bannon uttered racist remarks towards them.
