Dunoon Community Shed model railway exhibition

Members of the Dunoon Community Shed Model Railway Group will be exhibiting an exhibition layout “Bishops End” at the Scottish Festival of Model Railways at the Braehead Arena on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24.

There are 38 confirmed layouts, 20 plus traders and other clubs, societies and groups that will be exhibiting. There is a wide range of scales on show. As well as the popular N and OO gauge there are P4, HO, TT12, O and G.

This festival is not just about railway modelling; it’s a celebration of creativity, community, and nostalgia. Whether you’re looking to deepen your knowledge, meet fellow enthusiasts, or simply have fun, this event has it all.

The exhibition takes place at the Braehead Arena, Kings Inch Road, Glasgow, G51 4BN from 10 till 5 on each day. Adult tickets on the door are £12 and under 16’s go free with a paying adult. It is a great day out. Don’t forget to stop and have a chat at Bishops End with the Dunoon Community Shed members.

The Dunoon Community Shed Model Railway Group meets at the Shed on Hamilton Street every Thursday from 7pm until 9pm. Anyone with an interest in Model Railways would be most welcome. E-mail [email protected] for more details.
