Competition for the Club Outing Shield was keenly contested, with Dan MacRae producing the winning performance to claim the trophy with an excellent 38 Stableford points. The outing proved another enjoyable occasion for members, combining competitive golf with good company and camaraderie.

Attention now turns to Sunday’s Vice-Captain’s Trophy, with a 9.45am ballot scheduled in the clubhouse.

Meanwhile, the club’s ladies’ section enjoyed a successful outing to Old Ranfurly Golf Club, where Lucie Cooney emerged as the winner with a scratch score of 88.

With strong participation both at home and away, it was another positive week for Kyles of Bute Golf Club and its members.
