The Scottish Government is seeking opinions on play park improvements in Argyll & Bute as part of a national consultation.
The Play Park Renewal Fund from the Scottish Government saw a £60 million investment from 2021-2026 in 1,960 play parks across Scotland.
21 parks have been upgraded in Argyll & Bute with £673,500 from the Play Park Renewal Fund and a further £122,000 from the council and other funds.
Funding has been spent on parks across the local area but renewals for each park varied from minor repairs and landscaping to completely new park equipment in Tarbert Play Park, which has now been renamed the John McAlpine Play Park.
Multiple parks have seen the installation of wheelchair-accessible equipment such as roundabouts.
The government now wants to hear from families across Scotland about their local play spaces. The responses provided by local residents will be used to evaluate current practice and inform future policy, so it is an important opportunity to help shape outcomes for further projects.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, September 16.
