YOUNGSTERS at Patchwork 2-5 Nursery got into the Cowal Gathering spirit with their own annual Caber Toss Competition.
The nursery’s budding Highland Games stars put their strength – and throwing skills – to the test as they competed across three age groups.
Fynn Parnell was crowned winner of the two-to-three-year-old category, while Edward Churchill took the honours in the three-to-four group.
Completing the winning line-up was Alfie Churchill, who came out on top in the four-to-five-year-old competition.
The annual event gave the youngsters their own chance to enjoy one of Scotland’s most famous Highland Games traditions.
