Cowal Kirk Christmas tree festival delivers festive cheer for another year.

COWAL Kirk and friends have hailed the success of this year’s Christmas Tree Festival, which took place over three days earlier this month and attracted a steady stream of visitors to the church.

Those attending were able to enjoy a colourful display of decorated Christmas trees, while sharing a blether over tea, coffee, shortbread and mince pies in a warm and welcoming setting.

Following the festival, the decorated trees were collected by the Help Project and delivered to families across the community, helping to spread festive cheer beyond the church walls.

Cowal Kirk is a Church of Scotland congregation based in Dunoon, serving the Cowal community and surrounding area. As well as regular worship, the kirk plays an active role in local life, hosting community events and outreach activities that bring people together, offer support, and provide a warm, inclusive space for all ages.

A Cowal Kirk spokesperson said: “We would like to thank everyone involved in making the festival such a success, and everyone who came along to support it. Please be sure to mark your calendars for the Christmas Tree Festival in 2026.”
