On the Sunday afternoon, the younger swimmers were back in action in round two of their mini league competition.

Swimming this time at their own Riverside Pool, 21 of the 12 years and under swimmers gave a great account of themselves against strong opposition from the big teams of Stirling and Rutherglen.

With some really close races, Dunoon produced winners in four.

Zeche McGinnigal, who won twice, Lily Alice Pears and David Gillan, all swimming in the nine and under age group

A second place was won by Chloe Campbell, Lily Davis, Poppy Blair, David Gillan, Finlay Ramage, and Pippa Robinson.

The remaining team members who all swam gained personal best times were Sandaigh McKenna, Roisin Cudahy, Rowan Rough, Ava Appleton, Maddison Mackellar, Maja Gerrish, Sarah Morley, Christian Hampsey, Theo Lowrie, Skye Kennedy, Izzy Sims, Orlaith Hampsey, and Gemma Black.

The club will be running a gala for the Cowal primary schools next Monday, June 9, at 11am.
