Paul Connelly, (40), from Dunoon was given a

community payback order for 12 months, as a direct alternative to custody, a supplementary requirement for 12 months, 180 hours community service and was given two separate non-harassment orders, one for 12 months and the other for six months. On April 13 at a property in Miller Court, Connelly assaulted an 11-year-old child by grabbing them and pushing them on their body. On the same day and at the same location Connelly behaved in a threatening and abusive manner which was likely to cause fear and alarm in that he shouted, swore and made a threat towards an individual and uttered an offensive remark. On May 7, again at a property in Miller Court, Connelly assaulted a 15 year old by kicking them on their body.
