Makers Dozen Craft Fair Returns to Innellan

LOCAL artists and crafters will once again gather in Innellan Village Hall later this month as the popular Makers Dozen craft fair returns for its fourth year.

The event, which celebrates creative talent from across the Cowal peninsula, has become a regular highlight in the local calendar and a fitting way to welcome the arrival of spring.

Makers Dozen was originally created to showcase the work of local artisans while supporting small creative businesses. This year’s fair will feature thirteen carefully selected artists and makers, each chosen for the quality of their work and their connection to the local area.

Visitors can expect a wide range of handmade items, including jewellery, artwork, textiles, ceramics, glass pieces, blacksmith work and handmade oils and mists.

Food will also be available on the day, with Planted by Sai returning to host the event’s popular vegan pop-up café, offering a selection of homemade dishes, coffee and cakes.

Organisers say the event is an opportunity for people to browse unique handcrafted items, support local creators and perhaps pick up a special purchase.

Entry to the craft fair is free, and visitors will also have the chance to take part in a raffle to win a handmade piece created by one of the artists.

The Makers Dozen craft fair takes place on Saturday, March 21, from 11am to 4pm at Innellan Village Hall.
