BESTSELLING crime writer Peter James is heading to Dunoon as part of the book tour for his latest Roy Grace novel.
The acclaimed author will appear at the Queens Hall on Monday, October 12, at 1.30pm, in an event organised by Bookpoint.
James will be promoting Dead in Three, Two, One, the latest instalment in his hugely popular series featuring Brighton detective Roy Grace.
The new novel is set against the backdrop of Brighton Pride and sees Grace overseeing a major security operation while an old adversary plots revenge against the detective and his family.
James’s Roy Grace books have enjoyed success far beyond the printed page, providing the inspiration for ITV’s Grace, starring John Simm as the Brighton detective.
The television adaptation is currently in its sixth series, while seven of James’s novels have also been adapted for the stage.
His most recent stage adaptation, Picture You Dead, is currently touring the UK.
Bookpoint said it was delighted to be included as a stop on the author’s latest book tour and expects the Dunoon appearance to prove popular.
Tickets for the Queens Hall event cost £5, with a £22 option which includes a signed copy of the new novel.
